Set of Kings For O'Dea

Eoghan O'Dea raises to 12,000 in the hijack and after a few minutes pause Ramzi Jelassi calls in the cut-off. The small blind folds and Erich Kollmann flicks in the make-up from the big blind.

Flop: {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}

Kollmann checks, O'Dea bets 13,000, Jelassi calls and Kollmann folds.

That was the end of the action as both players let the board scare them into check-mode. The turn {A-Diamonds} and river {3-Spades} slowing the action down. At showdown O'Dea won the pot.

Flush?

Konstantin Uspenskiy was left behind with very little chips and in the hand after he lost most of it Billirakis decided to limp. Jelassi also decided to put in 5,000 bringing the action to Uspenskiy who pushed all-in for his last 28,000 chips. Billirakis, who had limped under the gun, re-potted to 99,000 getting Jelassi to fold.

Steve Billirakis{A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The flop brought out {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the Russian was looking for running flush or a queen. The turn was the {9-Spades} giving Uspenskiy hope but he was convinced there were no outs left. When the river, the {7-Spades}, got dealt he left his chair. His opponents reminded him he made a flush and Uspenskiy reacted with amazement, "Flush?". The Russian almost triples up and is back up to 12 big blinds.

Michele Di Lauro Delivers a Near Fatal Blow to Uspenskiy

Michele Di Lauro
Michele Di Lauro

Steve Billirakis raises to 12,000 in early position and Michele Di Lauro calls a few seats to his left. The action folds around to Konstantin Uspenskiy on the button and he three-bets to 57,000 and both players call.

Flop: {7-Clubs} {3-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

Billirakis and Di Lauro check to Uspenskiy who bets pot. Before the dealer can announce how much that is, Billirakis has folded and Di Lauro has moved all-in for 205,000 and Uspenskiy calls.

Di Lauro{Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts}
Uspenskiy{A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}

Turn: {A-Spades} & River: {8-Diamonds}

Di Lauro has won the pot but nobody is sure if Uspenskiy has been eliminated or not. After a tense few minutes the dealer hand Uspenskiy 28,000 back and he still has a slim chance in this tournament.
