Little vs. Tabatabai; Negreanu's Worst Starting Table
Over on Table 25, there was 4,000 in the pot and a board reading when Jonathan Little checked from the small blind and John Tabatabai, who finished as the runner-up in this very event in 2007, did the same from the hijack. Little checked for a second time on the river, and then called when Tabatabai bet 1,600. The latter rolled over and it was good as Little mucked.
"Worst table I've ever had in the Main Event," Daniel Negreanu told us after the hand. "Six players that are all winning tournament players." Not five seconds later the floor came over and informed the players that their table had been broke. "Yeah, I complained a little and put it on Twitter and now it's broke," Negreanu joked. Indeed, the players at Table 25 were scattered to the wind.
Worst starting table I've been at for a main ever. All winning players so far. 6 handed so far and all good players. This will make it toughSeptember 30 2012Follow
