Action folded to start-of-the-day chip leader John Juanda in the cutoff seat, and he opened with a raise to 60,000. From the small blind, Philipp Gruissem called. Everyone else folded, and the flop came down . Both players checked.
On the turn, the landed, and Gruissem led with a bet of 70,000. Juanda folded, and Gruissem snatched up the pot.
From under the gun, 2008 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event champion John Juanda raised to 60,000. Play then folded to Mike Watson on the button. With his short stack of 145,000, Watson reraised all in. The two blinds folded, then Juanda called.

The flop came down clean for Watson when the rolled out. The turn was the to give Watson a set of sevens, but Juanda could now hit a spade to win the pot as long as it didn't pair the board. The river completed the board with the , and Watson doubled.
On the next hand, action folded to Watson and he raised all in. No one called, but Watson was still able to chip up a bit and he's now back over 400,000.
Mike Watson was just all in versus Tobias Reinkemeier, but he missed out on a double up. Watson showed and was up against . The board ran out , and Watson survived.
The action has been slow at the final table since Jani Sointula doubled up. Everyone seems to be looking at Mike Watson who's the shortest stack at the table. So far no more all-in showdowns, but they will come soon!
