Hands #52-56: Straight for Nitsche

Level 25 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Hand #52: Andreas Eiler raised to 5.0 million on the button with {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Dominik Nitsche called from the big blind with {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Nitsche check-called a bet of 4.5 million from Eiler.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Nitsche checked again. Eiler fired 13.2 million with two pair and Nitsche just called with a straight. Nitsche checked for the third time and Eiler checked behind. The pot was sent to Nitsche who continued to extend his lead.

Hand #53: Nitsche limped in from the small blind with {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Mikita Badziakouski raised to 6.5 million in the big blind with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Nitsche quickly folded and Badziakouski took down the pot.

Hand #54: Nitsche opened to 4.5 million on the button with {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Eiler defended his big blind with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Eiler checked to Nitsche who continued for 4.0 million. Eiler made the call and the {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked to the {10-Spades} on the river and then checked again. Eiler won the pot with two pair, aces and tens.

Hand #55: Badziakouski raised to 4.5 million on the button with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #56: Nitsche raised to 5.5 million from the small blind with {9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Badziakouski called in the big blind with {q-Spades}{3-Spades}. The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn. Nitsche made a delayed c-bet of 6.0 million and Badziakouski folded.

The players are now taking a quick break and will return for one more level before the dinner break.
