Bittar Makes Wierzgon Bite The Dust

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Adam Wierzgon had gone all in from the button and action was now on Davood Mehrmand in the small blind. He went in the tank and eventually the clock was called on him. The floor came over and asked the dealer if he had had sufficient time to make a decision. The dealer confirmed so the floor gave Mehrmand 30 seconds to decide what he was going to do. When the time ran down to 5 seconds, the floor started counting down all the way to the end and declared his hand dead. Frederick Bittar, in the big blind, snap-called. Mehrmand angrily threw his cards into the muck, face open, which were {A-}{J-}.

Frederick Bittar: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Adam Wierzgon: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} - Bittar hit a nine on the flop giving him the better two pair with nines and sixes. The fact that the jack fell on the flop seemed to anger Mehrmand even more as he went into a bit of a rant. Wierzgon calmly grabbed his stuff and left the table. Bittar didn't say much either and just started stacking up his new chips.
