Liran Twito (802,000), Vahid Amirzahiri (685,000) and Pim van Holsteyn (627,000) are way out in front of the remaining field heading into Day 2 of Event #6: 2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha. The next closest player only has 369,000.

The event restarts Sunday at 1 p.m. local time. The players will start only two outside the money. The final 29 players will be guaranteed at least 3,215 and the first place prize is worth 93,677 and a WSOP gold bracelet.

Three of the top ten players still vying for the WSOP Player of the Year title are still in the field. Mike Leah (142,000), John Racener (130,000) and Chris Ferguson (98,000) are all under 25 big blinds to start Day 2. Ferguson currently leads the Player of the Year race with just over a 90-point lead over the third place Racener. Leah is sitting in eighth place currently.

The bubble should burst pretty quickly at the start of play and PokerNews will have updates from the event as the players move one step closer to a WSOP gold bracelet and the WSOP Player of the Year race comes a little more into focus as WSOP Europe approaches the halfway point.
