Moving Up, The €25,000 High Roller Kicks Off at 3

Now that the opening flights of the Colossus are through, and the WSOP Europe Main Event is around the corner, the bigger buy-in tournaments are taking center stage. Event #9:€25,000 No-Limit High Roller starts at 3 p.m. local time.

The players could use this as a warm-up for the €111,111 One Drop coming up later this week or just an opportunity to test their skills against some of the best competition at King's Casino. Kenny Hallaert, who has been crushing large field No-Limit Hold'em tournaments for the last two years said earlier this week that he would be entering the High Roller, making it the largest buy-in tournament he has played. Hallaert did bag Day 2 of the Colossus, so there is a chance he might have to wait a little longer to enter the highest buy-in tournament of his career.

Predicting who will show up isn't too easy, but if you can trust twitter there will likely be a few of the talented German pros showing up for the latter half of the WSOPE schedule.

The players will start with 500,000 chips and play 12 levels before bagging for Day 2. The levels are 40 minutes long with a dinner break coming after level six. Players can also buy directly into Day 2, so it is likely the field will gain some familiar faces tomorrow when the High Roller restarts.

PokerNews will have live updates for this and all the other events happening at WSOPE at King's Casino.
