Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess raised to 1,300 from the cutoff and was called by the player in the small blind and Steven van Zadelhoff in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}, both the small blind and Van Zadelhoff checked. Riess bet 2,000, the player in the small blind folded, Van Zadelhoff raised to 7,000 but then Riess three-bet to 19,700. Van Zadelhoff took some time to think but then made the call.

The turn brought them the {4-Diamonds}, Van Zadelhoff checked again. Riess now fired 21,100 and Van Zadelhoff looked at the board and the possibilities there. He decided to call.

The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts}, Van Zadelhoff checked for the final time, Riess took all his yellow 5,000-value chips and put them in as a bet which was around 65,000 which left him with around 3,000 behind. Van Zadelhoff went into the tank. After a minute or two he folded.

"Show one!" Van Zadelhoff said to Riess.

"Not during the WSOP Main Event." Riess replied while collecting the pot.
