Nitsche Folds to Shove

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

After having lost a big hand against Martin Jacobson over on the other table, Dominik Nitsche was moved over to the other one and raised to 2,000. Ali Reza Fatehi moved all in for his last 10,300 from one seat over and forced a fold.

Martin Kabrhel defended his big blind to a raise by Jacobson for 2,000 and checked in the dark before the flop fell {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Kabrhel bet 4,000 and Jacobson called before another bet of 5,000 on the {7-Clubs} river forced a fold from the Swede.

Kabrhel Back In

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

Steffen Sontheimer raised to 2,500 and Mikita Badziakouski called in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Badziakouski checked and called a bet of 2,000 by Sontheimer, the {2-Diamonds} turn went check, check. On the {Q-Diamonds} river, Badziakouski bet 16,000 and that forced a fold.

Soon after, Martin Kabrhel sat down between Sontheimer and Timothy Adams after buying back in for the second entry.

Fatehi Gets Flushed by Altergott

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

Ali Reza Fatehi had been involved in many pots early on with mixed results and had dropped some chips. He then faced a raise to 2,700 by Max Altergott in the small blind and defended his big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Altergott continued for 3,600 and Fatehi called before doing so again for 8,500 on the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Altergott bet the {5-Hearts} river for 21,000 and Fatehi reluctantly called, before sighing and mucking his cards as soon as Altergott rolled over {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush.

"Got Him" - Sontheimer and Badziakouski Chop

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

From under the gun, Steffen Sontheimer raised to 2,000 and was called by Mikita Badziakouski on the button and Dominik Nitsche in the big blind. The flop of {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds} was checked to Sontheimer, who bet 2,000. Badziakouski called and Nitsche folded. Sontheimer bet the {8-Diamonds} turn for 7,000 and Badziakouski called before the {8-Spades} river eventually went check, check.

Sontheimer rolled over {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a busted gutshot and flush draw, while Badziakouski had {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the busted open-ender. "Got him, I kept starting at him, so he was too scared to bluff," Sontheimer said with as grin and bumped fists with Badziakouski.

Kabrhel Busts on First Bullet

Level 2 : 400/800, 100 ante

Martin Kabrhel got his stack in preflop with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and was called by his nemesis from earlier, Max Altergott. The German turned over {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and the board ran out {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to see Altergott get there with quads on the board and his ace kicker. Whether or not Kabrhel will re-enter in the first eight levels remains to be seen.

Kabrhel and Fatehi Chop

Level 1 : 300/600, 100 ante

Mikita Badziakouski made it 1,700 to go on the button and Dominik Nitsche defended the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Nitsche checked and quickly folded to a bet.

Martin Jacobson raised to 1,500 from the button and picked up a call by Steffen Sontheimer. The duo checked down the {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and {9-Diamonds} turn. Nitsche bet the {7-Hearts} river for 1,000 and that won the pot.

Ali Reza Fatehi defended his big blind against a raise by Martin Kabrhel and check-called a bet of 3,000 on the {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. On the [19c] turn both players checked and Fatehi check-called a bet of 11,000 on the {A-Clubs} river. Kabrhel showed {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Fatehi had an equally strong hand in {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} to chop it up with the Czech, even high-fiving him.

Altergott Bests Kabrhel

Level 1 : 300/600, 100 ante

In the cutoff, Martin Kabrhel opened to 2,000 and Max Altergott defended his big blind. The flop of {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} was checked by Altergott, who then called a bet of 2,400 by Kabrhel. After the {2-Spades} turn, the check of Altergott was followed by a bet of 4,900 of Kabrhel and again Altergott called.

On the {Q-Clubs} river, Altergott checked the third street in a row and Kabrhel bet 15,000. Altergott called to see Kabrhel roll over {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for top pair, which the German had beat with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair. "Lucky," the German added and the always-talkative Kabrhel nodded, then picked up the table talk again.
