Chmielewski Flops Quads

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Marcin Chmielewski raised to 3,200 from early position and was called by Moncef Karoui in mid-position.

They both checked through the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the flop to the {9-Spades} on the river. Chmielewski bet 4,500 and Karoui called.

The river completed the board with the {10-Hearts} and Chmielewski barreled a bet of 16,000 over the line. Karoui tanked for about two minutes, then asked the dealer to spread the pot so he could see how much was in it. He cut out calling chips, counted out the remainder of his stack, tanked another two minutes while playing with the calling chips, and then finally put them over the line for the call. He mucked immediately when Chmielewski tabled {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the flopped quads.

"What did you have? Jacks?" Chmielewski asked Karoui.

"Full house" Karoui replied.

A few minutes later, former big stack Vivien Nagy departed from the table after her stack decreased rapidly when losing several bigger pots in quick succession.
