Smiljkovic Recovers His Lost Chips

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Daniel Smiljkovic raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Mario Llapi called from the big blind. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Llapi led out for 75,000. Smiljkovic called and the {k-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Llapi checked this time and Smiljkovic bet 105,000 which Llapi called. The river was the {7-Spades} and Llapi pushed all in for around 300,000. Smiljkovic quickly folded and Llapi scooped the pot.

In the next hand, Smiljkovic limped in and Luiz Ferreira raised to 105,000 in the cutoff. Amar Begovic called from the big blind and Smiljkovic called as well. The flop fell {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Ferreira who bet 175,000. Begovic folded and Smiljkovic check-raised all in for 520,000. Ferreira snap-called and the cards were tabled.

Smiljkovic showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and he was surprised to see that he was ahead of Ferreira's {9-Spades}{8-Spades}. The {5-Diamonds} landed on the turn and the {6-Clubs} completed the board as Smiljkovic doubled up.
