Jachtmann Calls After Long Tank on the Bubble

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Jan-Peter Jachtmann started the party with a raise to 16,000 from early position. Everyone got out of the way, except for Daniel Rezaei in the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked to unveil the {J-Spades} turn. Rezaei checked again and this time Jachtmann fired out a bet of 18,000. Rezaei called and the {9-Spades} river card completed the board.

Rezaei checked again and Jachtmann put in a bet of 35,000. Rezaei decided to announce pot and that meant he put Jachtmann all in for effectively 130,000. Jachtmann went into the tank for approximately eight minutes before calling it off.

Rezaei opened up {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for two pair and Jachtmann showed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

"That's a very unusual line you took" said Jachtmann to Rezaei. Rezaei responded with "I would've done the same with the nuts".
