Feature Table: Schwippert Scooped by Yu

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Winfred Yu raised from under the gun and was called by Asaf Berman in the cutoff. Jan-Eric Schwippert did the same from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and they all checked to the {4-Spades} on the turn, Schwippert was the only one to call the 250,000 bet of Yu.

The river completed the board with the {10-Spades}, Schwippert checked again. Yu now put Schwippert all-in who called after tanking for a while.

Winfred Yu: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Jan-Eric Schwippert: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Yu had turned the set which beat the top pair Schwippert had flopped and Schwippert was sent away from the feature table.

Rainer Kempe took his seat at the feature table in the meanwhile.

Four-Bet by Sekularac

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 220,000 and Christian Rudolph in the cutoff three-bet to 605,000. Ognjen Sekularac squeezed to 1,525,000 in the small blind. Jouhkimainen asked to see the stack of Sekularac and folded, Rudolph also quickly let go.

At the same time on a different table, Orpen Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 400,000 by Michael Bleg in a battle small blind versus late position and the turn showing {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The {7-Spades} on the river was checked and Kisacikoglu showed the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for a busted straight draw. Bleg had that beat with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} for aces and sevens to drag in the pot.

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jan-Eric Schwippert raised to 180,000 from the button with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Koray Aldemir defended his big blind with {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for Aldemir to flop a pair of fours. Aldemir checked and Schwippert continued with a bet of 140,000 which Aldemir called after considering his options.

Aido Ousted by Pollak

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Kristen Bicknell raised to 175,000 from under the gun and Benjamin Pollak three-bet to 490,000 from the hijack. Sergio Aido was sitting in the big blind and considering his options. After a while, he decided to shove for 1,820,000. Bicknell quickly folded but Pollak asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount.

"Oh, I cover you! That's good news." Pollak said before making the call.

Sergio Aido: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Benjamin Pollak; {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for Pollak to hold with pocket queens to eliminate Aido from the tournament.

Rudolph and Kempe Play a Big One

Level 16 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 160,000 from middle position and Christian Rudolph defended from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Rudolph checked to Kempe who bet 140,000. Rudolph check-raised to 430,000 and Kempe called.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Rudolph fired another 690,000. Kempe still called and the {4-Spades} on the river put four spades on the board. That didn't seem to bother Rudolph as he put together another bet of 900,000. Kempe looked rather displeased as he flew his cards to the muck before the table broke.
