Kabrhel Running Up a Stack

Level 8 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

The action has been fast and furious in this turbo format and Martin Kabrhel just recently eliminated David Peters and Mikita Badziakouski. Kabrhel started off by winning a flip with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} against the pocket sevens of Peters to score a double up.

It was shortly after that Peters and Badziakouski were seen leaving their seats and Kabrhel had increased his stack even further. He is now up to over 6,500,000 with just 11 players remaining.

Yap Can't Make it Last

Level 8 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jun Wah Yap raised from under the gun and Dominik Nitsche stuck in a three-bet directly on his left. The two players ended up getting all of the chips in the middle preflop and it was Nitsche who was at risk for 3,125,000.

Dominik Nitsche: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Jun Wah Yap: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} leaving Nitsche in the lead as nobody held a heart in their hand. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and the river brought the {3-Hearts}. Nitsche held on for the full double up while Yap saw his stack diminish to just one big blind.

Addamo Shakes Off the Advice

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action folded to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind who just limped in and Michael Addamo checked his option in the big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Kabrhel led out for 100,000. Addamo raised to 250,000 which got Kabrhel talking.

"Maybe I should wait for the final table. The final table is nine right?" he asked the floor who nodded. "And five in the money?" She nodded again. Kabrhel continued to count his chips and then moved all in for 1,600,000.

Addamo looked disgruntled but Kabrhel offered to help him out. "Would like some free advice?" Addamo hesitated for a few seconds but then asked for the free advice. "Ahh. you hesitated. Now it's going to cost you €50 for the dealer. You give €50 tip and I will tell you what to do."

Addamo snap-folded after Kabrhel's comments and Kabrhel was appalled that Addamo didn't take him up on his offer.

Soyza's Turn to Ship

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Tony G raised it up from the hijack and was called by Michael Soyza in the small blind and Jun Wah Yap in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the action checked to Tony G who continued for 60,000. Soyza and Yap both called to see the {2-Spades} on the turn.

Again, both of the blinds checked and Tony G fired in another 225,000. Soyza thought for a minute before moving all in for around 1,800,000. Yap got out of the way and Tony G quickly mucked his cards as well.
