At 1 p.m. local time, Day 2 of Event #12: 100,000 Diamond High Roller No-Limit HoldEm recommences in Europes biggest poker arena with at least 25 players in their seats out of 39 collected entries here in the Kings Resort. As the World Series of Poker Europe is nearing its final bracelet events, one of the marquee events is still featuring the crme de la crme of the poker world. With a 5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, nothing less was expected.

On the top of the chip counts is Germanys Manig Loeser with 6,140,000 in chips, he is closely followed by Anatoly Filatov who bagged 6,100,000 last night. Thomer Pidun, Alex Foxen, and Christoph Vogelsang complete the top five in the leaderboard.

All the other familiar names are still in contention but as registration is still open, more are expected to join in on the High Roller fun or reenter after having been eliminated on Day 1. Due to the structure change on Day 1, instead of two levels of late reg, there will be four levels of 60 minutes each where players can enter or reenter the field.

New entries will receive 2,000,000 in chips and six time-banks for their 100,000 buy-in and with unlimited entries, who knows what will happen as the guarantee has not been reached yet. All returning players will receive 6 extra time-banks on top of whatever they banked on Day 1.

Day 2 will restart with Level 9 which has a small blind of 25,000, a big blind of 50,000 and a big blind ante of 50,000. A 15-minute break has been scheduled after every two levels and play will end when the final table has been reached.

All the action can be followed right here as the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor as usual.
