The 2019 World Series of Poker Europe, hosted by Europe's biggest poker arena in the King's Resort in Rozvadov, is underway and it is time for Day 1b of the schedule's second event. During yesterday's Day 1a, there were 169 entries in total and only 12 of them managed to remain in their seats with chips in front of them, after 18 levels of play.

Surpassing the guarantee of 100,000 will be an easy task for this event, since it was already almost covered by Day 1a's entries. Taking a closer look in yesterday's entries, it is clear that many big names came here to claim the best they can. Three of the top ten players on the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year race managed to finish in the money, with Robert Campbell, David Baker and Daniel Negreanu, all earning points for the leaderboard. Based on the event's structure, they will have the chance to register again today for Day 1b, and hunt even more points.

Day 1b will start at 4 p.m. and players will find 25,000 in front of them to use, in order to build a stack and progress to Day 2. This flight, too, will give to players the option of unlimited re-entries, available for the first 12 levels of play. Once again, players will enter the money before the end of the day, and after that the total prize pool for Day 2 will be announced.

Marcel Brunner is occupying the first place of the chip counts with 668,000 chips, while 2019 WSOP gold bracelet winner Dash Dudley is following closely, with 657,000.

Many familiar faces are expected for Day 1b, such as Shaun Deeb, Jeff Lisandro, Allen Kessler, Jan-Peter Jachtmann and Phil Hellmuth, who will try make a deep run in the first PLO bracelet for this year's WSOPE.
