Chen is Lost Without His Watch
There's been a lot of table chatter over on Table 47 and some of the latest had to do with James Chen missing his watch. During his bracelet run in the 250,000 Super High Roller, Chen was constantly checking his watch in the middle of the hands to randomize his decision.
"How are you going to play without your watch?" Alex Foxen asked.
"I forgot it in my room. I'll have to use something else instead."
"Here, you can have mine," Rainer Kempe offered. "It's a nice watch."
Meanwhile, Chen opened to 13,000 from under the gun and Timothy Adams three-bet to 44,000 in position. Chen responded with a four-bet to 110,000 and Adams called.
The flop came and Chen led out for 85,000. Adams raised to 285,000 just as his time was expiring which stirred on another conversation about the time banks. Chen thought for a moment but decided to let his hand go and Adams collected the pot.
