Sitbon Interrogates Meuwis
Level 4
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Julien Sitbon and Joris Meuwis were already heads-up on a board of K?A?K?3?2? and 30,000 in the pot when Meuwis moved all in for 33,400 in the small blind.
"You're never bluffing. I have one of the worst kings I can have," Sitbon said as he tanked for several minutes.
"You have king-jack or king-ten? Worse beats me anyway," Sitbon asked Meuwis. "Help me. When was the last time you bluffing in your whole life?"
"I think yesterday," Meuwis replied.
The clock was eventually called and Sitbon allowed the countdown to nearly reach zero before he called. His instincts proved correct, as Meuwis showed K?J? to win the pot and take most of Sitbon's remaining chips.
