At noon local time, Day 2 of the10,350 WSOP Main Event will get underway. Across both Day 1a and Day 1b, 677 entries were made in the marquee event at King's Resort in Rozvadov, generating a prize pool of 6,431,500. However, late registration will remain open for the majority of Day 2, with five of the seven scheduled levels still having the option for a fresh entry, or a second bullet if the need arises.

All players who decide to enter or use their single reentry available to them today will get their starting stack of 100,00 chips, good for just over 62 big blinds at the start of Day 2 and 20 big blinds at the very end of the late registration period. However, they will have some catching up to do before they equal the stack of Dumitru Pora from Romania, who amassed 729,900 chips on Day 1a and leads the 433 players who got through Day 1a or Day 1b.
