Estanislau Leads Final 109 in Event 2: €550 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Max
Welcome back to the 2023 WSOPE Europe here at Kings Resort in Rosvadov. Over the course of three starting flights, which drew a total of 719 entries, only 109 remain in Event #2: €550 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Max with Portugal's Joao Estanislau leading the pack after bagging 484,500 in Day 1b.
Also in the hunt are Michael Rodrigues (343,000), who is having a stellar 2023 after having won his first bracelet in a Badugi event this summer and Omar Eljach (297,000), who won the 2022 WSOPE Main Event.

With registration now over, the 719 entries generated a total prize pool of €341,525 — surpassing the €300,000 guarantee. All the remaining players are in the money and will take home a minimum of €824. The eventual winner will take home €65,900 in addition to the gold bracelet.
Day 2 is set to begin at 2 p.m. local time and resume on level 16, which features 1,000/2,500 blinds with a 2,500 big blind ante. Play will continue for an additional 15 levels, which last 40 minutes each. Players will get their first 15-minute break at the end of level 20 and additional 15-minute breaks after every three levels. Play will conclude for the day at the conclusion of level 31.
