Marjanovic Wins Battle of Big Stacks

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Rafi Elharar bet 325,000 from the small blind and was called by Adem Marjanovic in the big blind.

Both players checked the A?10?10? flop, but Elharar bet 250,000 on the 9? turn which was called by Marjanovic.

The 3? river appeared to be a massive brick and both players checked. Elharar turned over K?7? for a missed flush draw, while Marjanovic tabled J?9? for two pair to take the pot.

Boatman's Nines Scuttles Marjanovic

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Barny Boatman
Barny Boatman

Adem Marjanovic bet 230,000 from the button and was met with a shove from Barny Boatman in the small blind for 1,630,000. Marjanovic called without hesitation.

Barny Boatman: 9?9?
Adem Marjanovic: A?K?

A classic race and Marjanovic gained the nut flush draw after the flop of 8?4?4?. But no further help came as the J?6? completed the board to give Boatman the double up.

Two Double-Ups for Peters

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

Before the blinds went up, Tobias Peters went for a stop and go against Daniel Koloszar when he defended the big blind against a min-raise. Peters then got the last 160,000 in after the 9?3?2? flop and was behind with 4?4? versus A?9?.

"The spade is coming," Peters predicted.

Koloszar improved to trips on the 9? turn but the spade came with the Q? river.

Barny Boatman then min-raised to 200,000 and folded to a shove by Rafi Elharar.

Koloszar opened to 200,000 next and Peters three-bet the button with 100,000 behind. Koloszar jammed and Peters called all-in for 720,000.

Tobias Peters: A?Q?
Daniel Koloszar: J?J?

The flip went to the Dutchman thanks to the A?10?10?9?7? board.

"I like the start of this final table," Peters admitted with a big grin on the face after his second double-up in quick succession.

Rafi Elharar bet 160,000 from the hijack and was called by Artsiom Panasiuk in the big blind.

Both players checked the 9?6?5? flop, but Elharar bet 400,000 on the 9? turn and was snap-called by Panasiuk.

Artsiom Panasiuk: 8?7?
Rafi Elharar: A?4?

The Belorussian flopped the world making the Dolly Parton straight and Elharar was drawing dead. The 6? completed the board and Panasiuk dragged in the double up.

The Clocking Has Commenced

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

With one table playing by far faster than the other, Tobias Peters, Adem Marjanovic and Jorge Ufano have called the clock on Artsiom Panasiuk numerous times to ensure a soft hand-for-hand mode is observed.

Marjanovic used this very slow period to rake in chips while Peters twice raised to 375,000 and preserved his short stack, showing the 10?10? and the A?.
