Botez Folds the Winner as "All-In King" Ki Takes Out Stroke
Alexandra Botez raised to 4,000 from early position without realizing Shawn Stroke had already moved all in for 24,000. Botez was given the option of surrendering the 4,000, but she elected to call Stroke's shove.
"It will be fun either way," Stroke said as he and Botez began chatting about Clash of Clans as Ismet Oral tanked for a minute before also calling. Action then folded to Junhyoung Ki who pushed his last 68,500 in the middle. Botez folded, while Oral called.
Shawn Stroke: K?Q?
Ismet Oral: K?Q?
Junhyoung Ki: 5?5?
Ki held his hands together in prayer as the board ran out 6?8?10?J?7?, keeping his fives in the lead earning him a double up through Oral, while Stroke was eliminated. "Crazy game," Stroke said on his way to the rail.
Botez admitted she folded ace-nine suited and would've made a straight to win the pot. "The all-in king," she christened Ki.
