Eljach Shoves on Herold, Lakerveld Has a Good Opening Level
Level 8
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
The 2022 WSOP Europe Main event champion Omar Eljach was seen shoving the river against Kai Herold in a pot over on Table #136.
On a full board of 3?2?3?A?6?, there were around 100,000 chips in the pot when Eljach overbet-shoved, which left Herold with a decision for his stack of around 170,000.
"You've been so lucky," said Herold to Eljach while he was thinking. Eventually, Herold let his hand go, and Eljach raked in the chips.
Despite winning that pot, Eljach is still down from his starting stack, but Daniel Lakerveld who is sat on the same table certainly isn't down as he has increased his 300,000 start-of-day stack to around 550,000 now.
