Camosci Shows the Winner as El Yaacoubi Erupts at the Dealer
Rachid El Yaacoubi and Enrico Camosci were heads-up on a board of 6?8?J?5? when El Yaacoubi bet 350,000 from middle position. It was at this point, before Camosci could act, that controversy broke out.
The dealer informed El Yaacoubi that his clock had run out and he had to spend a time bank. El Yaacoubi loudly disagreed, claiming he acted well within 30 seconds and that the dealer hadn't restarted the clock.
"It's not my fault. I'm a player, not a dealer. This is a 10K tournament," El Yaacoubi passionately said. A tournament official had to be called over and the argument continued for another few minutes.
Camosci eventually called to see the K? river as both players checked. El Yaacoubi turned over A?6? for a pair and missed flush draw, while Camosci had Q?J? for a pair of jacks to win the pot.
El Yaacoubi wasn't done arguing after the hand was over. "I'm tilted now," he said.
"You're right, but you're in danger of being on the wrong side because of your behavior," Camosci told him.
