Brace Yourself for Short-Handed Play! The 1,650 6-Max Kicks Off
The World Series of Poker Europe is in full swing at the stunning Kings Resort in Rozvadov, and excitement is building as Day 1 of Event #7: 1,650 No-Limit Holdem 6-Max is set to begin. With a massive guaranteed prize pool of 300,000, the stakes are high, and the atmosphere is buzzing as players gear up for what promises to be an intense day of poker action.
Last year, 495 players entered the event, and 120 advanced to Day Two, battling it out for the sought-after WSOP gold bracelet. Tobias Peters was the one who made it happen. Twelve years ago, he quit his job to go all-in on poker, and the Dutch pro finally snagged his first bracelet. After an exhausting final day that stretched nearly 17 hours, Peters remained sharp. He ultimately faced the legendary Barny Boatman in a tense heads-up showdown. When the dust settled, Peters claimed the bracelet along with a solid 143,100 payday, capping off a hard-fought journey.
Who will this year's lucky winners be? And will last years champion return to defend his title?
