Heimiller Heads Out
In a battle of the blinds (and the Dans), Dan Heimiller limped in from the small, and Dan Shak raised to 1,100 from the big. Heimiller called, and a big pot would brew from there.
The flop came with two spades, and Heimiller led out into the pot with 1,200 chips. Shak promptly raised to 3,500 total, and Heimiller called. The board paired with another on the turn, and Heimiller check-called another 6,000.
The river came a , and Heimiller knocked the table again. Shak set him all in for about 12,000 total, and the other Dan tanked for a long while before making the call for his tournament life.
Shak rolled over , and he immediately apologized to Heimiller. "Sorry, Dan. I know you had a four. Just..." he trailed off as Heimiller gathered his coat, wished everyone luck, and disappeared off into the masses.
