Man Down, Michael Browne
Michael Browne had 16,000 chips out in front of him when we walked up, and it looked like that was his opening raise. Next door, Michael Benvenuti moved all in for 59,400, and the action folded back to Browne. He had just a few thousand chips more than his opponent, and he said, "I knew I had to make a move early. Let's see if I have one more lucky hand." With that, he plunked in the call to put Benvenuti at risk.

There were a couple scary looking eights, but no nine on a board that ran , and Benvenuti has doubled up over 120,000.
Browne was eliminated on the very next hand as the first casualty of Day 3.
