Welcome to the 2022 Wynn Million $1,600 Wynn Mystery Bounty!
The Wynn Millions series is back!
The month-long festival kicked off on February 21 and will run through March 20. One of the first tournaments on the schedule marks the return of the popular and unique Mystery Bounty, a $1,600 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament with a surprise bounty hidden inside an envelope after busting another player.
Play begins on February 24 and guarantees at least $1.5 million in total prize money. Day 1a will take place at Noon on Thursday, February 24, with Days 1b and 1c taking place at the same time on Friday and Saturday respectively. The surviving players from each flight will then return to play down to a winner on Sunday's Day 2, which is when the mystery bounties take effect and PokerNews will begin our live updates.
In total, the Wynn Millions winter poker series features 16 events with more than $15 million in prize money to be awarded. There's a tournament for just about any type of poker player — high stakes, mid-stakes, no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, bounty events, etc. And there are two seniors events for players aged 50 and above — $400 and $1,100.
That includes the 2nd annual $10,000 buy-in, $10 million GTD Wynn Millions, which will begin on March 3. PokerNews will provide daily live updates throughout the entirety of that tournament.
It won't be the only event during the series that promises to surpass $1 million. In fact, two other tournaments during Wynn Millions will crack the seven-figure mark, and a third ($1,100 No-Limit Hold'em) guarantees at least $500,000.

Last November, the 2021 Wynn Fall Classic $1,600 Mystery Bounty attracted 2,573 players to create a prize pool of $3,730,850. There were three starting flights and there were 281 players who made it to Day 2 and in the money.
In the end, Evan Sandberg defeated Aram Zobian in heads-up play to win $293,322 in addition to the $87,000 in bounties he collected. The heads-up match went back and forth and lasted over an hour, which seemed only fitting as Day 2 lasted over 19 hours before Sandberg was finally declared the winner.
A Mystery Bounty between $500 and $100,000 was earned every time an opponent was eliminated. The three $100,000 top prizes were not yet found until the second break, when all three were claimed in quick succession by Sergio Fernandez, JC Tran, and Hwany Lee, who also found a $50,000 prize and made the final table.
The other five $50,000 mystery bounties were found by Jonathan Kotula, Vlad Darie, George Petrov, Guillaume Diaz, and eventual winner Sandberg.
