After three starting flights that attracted a total of 1,428 entries, 233 players will combine for Day 2 of the Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 No-Limit Hold'em Championship. Currently leading the field is Austrian poker pro Thomas Muehloecker, who sits well out in front of the rest of the competition with 1,127,000. His closest competitor is German gold bracelet winner Daniel Smiljkovic on 819,000 with Canadian Demosthenes Kiriopoulos the other big stack with 773,000.
Many notable players will be returning for Day 2, including Kristen Foxen (283,000), Brazilian pro Joao Simao (261,000) and 2019 WSOP Main Event champion Hossein Ensan (170,000). They, along with the rest of the field, will surely have one eye on the massive $696,011 first place prize.
Action gets underway at 12 p.m. PDT, with play resuming at Level 16 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 big blind ante. Play will continue through ten 60-minute levels. With only 152 players getting a slice of the $4,605,300 prizepool, not all those who return are guaranteed a return on their investment.
