Day 2ab Notables

The plan for Day 2ab was to play five levels, but the speed of eliminations brought the day to an end a level early with 89 players remaining.

The returning Day 3 players are led by Rossitto, who went on a massive run on Day 2 to finish with 966,000. A deep run would be Rossittos second cash of the series, with the first coming on a run to 27th in the $1,600 Mystery Bounty.

Rossitto is joined near the top of the leaderboard by Joseph Sabe, who finished with 862,000. Sabe won the $3,500 event at the 2022 Wynn Millions for just over $500,000, and his career earnings sit just shy of $1 million.

Also near the top of the leaderboard are Alex Foxen and Jake Schwartz, with 814,000 and 720,000 respectively. Foxen has already cashed three times at this year's Wynn Millions, including a fourth-place finish in the $3,000 6-max event for $112,006. Schwartz also cashed in the $3,000 6-max with an 11th-place finish for $12,903.

Justin Liberto will also return on Day 3 with 688,000. Liberto is fresh off of a big win in the Main Event at the 2023 Potomac Winter Poker Open, and he returns less than $100,000 from $5 million in lifetime earnings.

Other players returning for Day 3 include Danny Wong, Mitchell Halverson, Kitty Kuo, Andrew Moreno, Chance Kornuth, Faraz Jaka, Jessica Vierling, Ryan Riess, and overall Day 1 chip leader Michael Dyer, who finished with 734,000.
