The Sunday Briefing: Numbers Up, and Mike "Pipedream17" Dietrich Does it Again
Even though a few of the PokerStars Sunday Majors are on hiatus while the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is in full swing, there are still several that will continue to run as scheduled. Across the board, each Sunday Major saw a big increase in attendance. Could it have been WCOOP-related? There's a good chance.
Also, for the third consecutive week, Mike "Pipedream17" Dietrich had an impressive Sunday score. He final-tabled the PokerStars Sunday 500 for the last two weeks, and because it didn't run this week, he decided he needed to not only final table a different Sunday Major, but also to win it and earn the top Sunday non-WCOOP prize.
