2012 World Poker Tour Copenhagen Day 4: Final Table Set; Emil Olsson Leads
Season XI of the World Poker Tour Season continued on Friday with Day 4 of the WPT Copenhagen Main Event. The day began with the final 18 of a 229-player field returning to play down to the final table of six, and it took four levels to get there. Leading the final table is Emil Olsson with a stack of 2,208,000.
Stanislav Barshak began the day as chip leader and action picked with a little over an hour left in Level 18 with the blinds at 3,000/6,000 and a 1,000 ante. According to the WPT Live Reporting Team, the first elimination occurred when Barshak opened for 13,000 under the gun and WPT National Series Denmark Champ Steve ODwyer moved all in. Frei Silling Kjaer called behind, Barshak got out of the way, and the cards were flipped up.

Kjaer: A?K? |
ODwyer: J?J? |
ODwyer was slightly out in front but unfortunately for him, Kjaer found a pair on the K?9?9? flop to take the lead. Neither the 2? turn nor Q? river delivered ODwyer salvation, and he was eliminated in 18th place for DKK62,000.
Not long after, Philip Jacobson opened for 12,000 on the button and received calls from Peter Jepson and Bircan Cakar in the small blind and big blind respectively. Jepsen checked the A?Q?J? flop, Cakar bet 33,000, and Jacobson fold. Jepson opted to call, and then checked for a second time on the 9? turn. Cakar took the opportunity to bet 104,000, and then called when Jepson moved all in.

Jepson: A?2? |
Cakar: K?10? |
Cakar had flopped the nuts and had Jepson, who would finish in 17th place for DKK62,000, drawing dead. Over the course of the next three levels, Kenny Kousgaard (14th - DKK72,000), Christian Honore (13th - DKK89,000), Niclas Martinsson (12th - DKK89,000), Thor Drexel (11th - DKK89,000), Martin Tonnesen (10th - DKK89,000) and Cakar (9th - DKK120,000) all joined Jepson on the rail.
In Level 22, with the blinds at 8,000/16,000 and a 2,000 ante, three players saw a flop of 9?7?6? and Morten Klein checked, opening the door for Olsson to bet 43,000. Jimmy Jonsson the raised to 102,000 from the cutoff, Klein folded, and Olssen three-bet to 189,000. Jonsson moved all in and Olssen snap-called.

Olssen: 9?9? |
Jonsson: J?10? |
Olssen had flopped top set and was well out in front of Jonssons gut-shot straight draw. The 2? turn was a blank, as was the 2? river, and Olssen took his leave in eighth place for DKK160,000.
That brought about the final-table bubble, which burst in short order. It happened when action folded to Frei Silling Kjaer in the small blind and he raised to 32,000, which Barshak called from the big. Barshak proceeded to call bets of 46,000 and 91,000 on the A?9?8? flop and Q? river respectively, and then watched Kjaer move all in for 250,000 on the 5? river. Barshak made a quick call and tabled a rivered two pair, which bested Kjaers A?10?. Kjaer finished as the final-table bubble boy in seventh place for DKK203,000.
