Carter Gill Wins Latin Series of Poker Millions for $175,070
This past weekend, Carter Gill made his fifth straight final table in the Latin America region. Back in November, Gill won the Latin American Poker Tour Season 6 Grand Final in Punta del Esta, Uruguay, and on Saturday he scored another victory by topping a field of 1,290 players to win the Latin Series of Poker Millions Main Event in Panama for $175,070.

According to the cardplayerla.com live blog, the first final table elimination came when Adam Reynolds raised from the button and then called an all-in shove for 670,000 from Guillermo Echevarria.

Echevarria had some major kicker problems, and things got even worse when the flop came down K?10?5? to pair Reynolds�� ten and give him a flush draw. The 4? turn left Echevarria drawing dead, and after the 8? was put out on the river, he was sent to the rail in ninth place for $16,490.
After Oscar Ortiz fell in eighth place for $20,370, Reynolds followed him out the door after running his Q?Q? straight into the A?A? of Gill. The board ran out 6?5?7?J?9? and Reynolds had to settle for seventh place and $26,190.
The next to go was Francis Cruz in sixth place for $33,950, and then Team PokerStars Pro Nacho Barbero fell in fifth. It happened in Level 29 (40,000/80,000/10,000) when the short-stacked Argentinean moved all in under the gun and Leonardo Tarazona called from the big blind.

Barbero was drawing to two live cards, but he was left wanting after the board ran out A?2?3?8?6?. Barbero took home $43,625 for his performance.
After Tarazona and Maziar Keshavarzi fell in fourth and third place respectively, Gill faced off against Raz Alon holding a 4-1 chip lead. In what would be the final hand, Alon opened for 200,000 from the button only to have Gill three-bet to 600,000. Alon responded with a four-bet to 1.1 million and then called when Gill moved all in.

Gill was well out in front, but the J?8?8? flop put out some chop options. The 3? turn didn��t change much, and neither did the 6? river. Gill held to eliminate Alon in second place and lay claim to the title.
