With another weekend of online poker in the books, it's time for the winners to be known. As usual, lots of big events were played out over the weekend, including lots of events on PokerStars and the WSOP.com Nevada Spring Poker Series Main Event.
In the PokerStars Sunday Million, four players scored six-figure prizes after chopping up the event. Finishing in first place was Russia's Vitaly "CaptainGant" Zheleztsov for $137,944.12, but it would the Ukraine's "**Geka**555" who scored the most money with a $142,000 win. In the PokerStars Sunday 500, Christopher "UncleAnte9" Lockhart topped an absolutely stacked final table to table down 70,740.
In the Spring Poker Series Main Event in Nevada, "methdamon" took down the $16,983 top prize. He topped a field of 158 players in the $200 rebuy-plus-add-on event. He also final tabled the $15,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee on the same site, taking home $436.23. Interestingly enough, the winner of that latter event was "Dvalouev" for $6,664.62, and he placed third in the Spring Poker Series Main Event for $6,290.
In other news, Joe "jcada99" Cada took fourth place for $32,568 in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up.
