PokerStars UKIPT Returns to Bristol After Two-Year Absence
The Rainbow Casino, located inside Bristol's Harbourside, is preparing to host the fourth leg of the 2015 PokerStars United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) from Aug. 5-9. It is the first time in two years that Bristol has played host to a UKIPT, and PokerStars has created a superb schedule that ensures the festival will be a roaring success.
There are 12 events, including satellites, for poker tournament specialists to get involved in throughout UKIPT Bristol. Buy-ins range from ��110 and top out at ��2,200, with the latter being the cost to enter the eight-handed, single reentry High Roller.
Kicking off the 2015 UKIPT Bristol festivities is a ��165 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Turbo on the evening on Aug. 5, with the UKIPT Bristol ��770 Main Event scheduled to begin at midday on Aug. 6 and run through to Aug. 9.

When the UKIPT last dropped anchor in Bristol, Germany's Wojtek Barzantny wrote himself into the game's history books after winning two UKIPT titles in the space of a week.
Barzantny won the inaugural UKIPT Online title, which had its final table played live at the Gala Casino, after defeating Chris Moorman heads-up. He then walked away with the UKIPT Bristol title after topping the 550-strong field to return home with ��90,400 �� one of the largest prizes on the UK circuit that year.
This year's UKIPT Bristol Main Event looks set to be a star-studded affair judging by the talented players who have won their seats via satellites at PokerStars.
The likes of Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford, Ben "cheezees" Martin, Ben "F3nix35" Dobson, Antoine Saout, Michael "BIGMICKG" Graydon, Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich, Dara O'Kearney, Kevin Killeen, Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody, and the in-form Daniel Carter are all registered and ready to play.
