Aussie Millions Starts, Completes First Flight of Opener

The Aussie Millions kicked off Jan. 11 with its opening event and the announcement of its official jewelry partner.

The No Limit Hold��em ��Opening Event,�� with its AUD$1 million prize pool guarantee, is the first of 26 poker events. These other events range in price from AUD$1,150 to AUD$250,000.

At the end of the first flight of the Opening Event, there were 254 players and no re-entries. James Obst is one of the poker pros who made the list.

Ben Tollerene, Celina Lin, Christoph Vogelsang, Connor Drinan, Dan Shak, Erik Seidel, Fabian Quoss, Fedor Holz, Jackie Glazier, Jennifer Tilly, Justin Bonomo, Joe Hachem, Martin Jacobson, Max Altergott, Nick Petrangelo, Oliver Speidel, Phillip Gruissem, Phil Laak, Sam Greenwood, Sam Trickett, Shane Warne, Stephen Chidwick, Tobias Reinkemeier, Tony Bloom, Tyron Krost, Yevgeny Timoshenko and many more are also expected to attend.

The second flight begins Thursday at 6:10 p.m. and Event 2 H.O.R.S.E. begins at 12:10 p.m.

Aussie Millions also announced via press release that the official jewelry partner of the 2017 Aussie Millions Poker Championship is ANTON. This jeweler is also the naming rights sponsor of Event 12 with the ANTON Jewellery $100,000 Challenge.

As the official jeweler, ANTON will provide 25 championship rings and the Main Event champion��s bracelet.
