English Premier League Football Betting Picks for Week 29 0001

In the Premier League, the games on March 18 and 19 bring intrigue, likely incidents, and the chance to see which teams will edge closer to likely relegation. Meanwhile, Manchester United, fresh from FA Cup disappointment, has the chance to edge closer to a Champions League. Here are the top betting odds and picks for Week 29.

SATURDAY, MARCH 18

West Bromwich Albion vs. Arsenal

Tony Pulis seems to like little better than upsetting Arsene Wenger's plans, and the West Brom manager has put together a number of great results at home already. The Gunners will find it difficult to break down the defence of a side that has an outside chance of Europe this season.

Top Bet: 3/1 with William Hill for a draw

West Ham United vs. Leicester City

Leicester may have a European hangover after its Champions League game this week, whatever the result of that game. The additional games have not been kind to a thin Foxes squad, for whom the central defence of Wes Morgan and Robert Huth looks overworked.

West Ham, out of Europe in summer, has no such worries, and the clever passing and running of Manuel Lanzini could cause real trouble for Leicester.

Top Bet: 13/10 with BetVictor for a West Ham win

Stoke City vs. Chelsea

Chelsea, only having lost three games all season, goes to Stoke in a position of remarkable strength at the top of the table, but must be overwhelming favourite to extend the lead at the top against a team with patchy form.

Having already been ripped apart 4-0 by Spurs, expect Stoke to suffer against the league-leading side.

Top Bet: 9/2 with Betfair for Chelsea to win by 3 or more goals

Sunderland vs. Burnley

Burnley has a poor record away from home, but Sunderland has a poor record everywhere this season, and it's hard to see where the wins are going to come from for the bottom club. Burnley has no wins in five, while Sunderland has lost three games in a row, so this may see the two sides cancel each other out.

Top Bet: 9/4 with Betfair for a draw

Crystal Palace vs. Watford

Watford continues to do just enough to stay clear of the relegation zone without ever really looking better than that, while Crystal Palace has just put together two wins in a row to get to 17th. However, Palace's defence has been upset by pace all season, and Isaac Success is one of a few tricky Watford players who can cause problems for the Eagles.

Top Bet: 15/4 with BetVictor for a Watford win

Everton vs. Hull City

Everton continues to be in the hunt for the Europa League place, and Romelu Lukaku seems fired-up. Hull won last time out and has developed a remarkable team spirit with a clutch of on-loan players. Due to the terms of his loan, Oumar Niasse cannot get revenge on Everton, the club which cast him out of the first team, but Lazar Markovic has been in great form since moving from Liverpool to the Tigers.

Top Bet: 16/5 with BetVictor for a draw

Bournemouth vs. Swansea City

Bournemouth pulled out of a difficult run of defeats for a draw and a win in its last two matches, but Swansea, with nine points from a possible 18, is also in improved form, with Fernando Llorente looking interested once again.

Swansea ought to be marginal favourite for the win in this game, though it will be close.

Top Bet: 12/5 with Betfair for a Swansea win

SUNDAY, MARCH 19

Middlesbrough vs. Manchester United

Boro, second from bottom, is in deep trouble as the club welcomes Manchester United. Jose Mourinho still lacks the services of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but is likely to have Marcus Rashford recover from the illness that saw him at half-fitness against Chelsea in midweek.

There probably isn't a better time, though, to play United, with Ibrahimovic out and a Europa League game to play on Thursday.

Top Bet: 17/11 with bwin for Middlesbrough to win on a Manchester United Win No Bet

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Southampton

Southampton's league position has recovered following two recent wins that put Claude Puel's side in tenth, but with Harry Kane in the form of his career and a settled team around him wreaking so much havoc on decent sides like Stoke, it seems likely the second-placed Spurs will find a way past the Saints.

Top Bet: 19/5 with BetVictor for a half-time/full-time result of draw/Tottenham

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Liverpool has lost two games in the past five, making this match against Manchester City a must-win for both sides as they seek to consolidate their positions in the Champions League places. The problem is, something has to give, and with both teams having front threes in prime form, it looks like a possibility the points may be shared.

Top Bet: 27/10 with Winner Sports for a draw
