The Spanish Poker Festival Returns to King's Casino on Jan. 28
The Spanish Poker Festival is returning to King's Casino, located on the German border in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, for its Winter Edition on Jan. 28 to Feb. 4.
The festival is filled with low buy-in events with huge guarantees. Starting things off is the �70 Welcome Event on Jan. 28 with a healthy �5,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The action picks up in a big way the following day with the start of the �115 Spanish Cup which features a huge �50,000 guarantee. The tournament has three opening flights on Jan. 29-31. Surviving players will compete for one more day on Feb. 1 until a winner is crowned.
While players are battling it out in the Spanish Cup, others will be competing in two other big tournaments on Jan. 31 including the �600 Spanish High Roller with a �25,000 guarantee and the �90 Sanchez Memorial with a �10,000 guarantee.
Main Event and Beyond
From there is the tournament all the players are waiting for, the �300 Spanish Poker Festival Main Event. Players will have plenty of chances to bag a big stack for the Final Day on Feb. 4 with four opening flights on Feb. 1-3 and unlimited reentries permitted until the conclusion of Level 14.
To help speed things along, the tournament structure employs a button ante, meaning that instead of each player required to place an ante, the button antes for the entire table.
The latter part of the schedule includes tournaments with �115 buy-ins and �20,000 guarantees including the Super Friday on Feb. 2, the King's Championship on Feb. 3 and the Golden Poker on Feb. 4.
King's Casino will also be hosting satellites for the High Roller and the Main Event, as well as qualifiers for its upcoming �5,300 partypoker LIVE Millions featuring a mouth-watering �5 million guarantee on Feb. 14-18.
As is always the case, plenty of cash games will be running around the clock starting at just �1/�3 no-limit hold'em and �2/�2 pot-limit Omaha, so there will be plenty of action for all players.
