“L1VeYRdReamS” banked a cool $396,217 and became the PokerStars Turbo Series Main Event champion after outlasting a star-studded field of 2,711 players. The bumper crowd ensured that the $2.5 million guarantee was surpassed by $211,000.

Everyone at the final table was guaranteed at least $26,414 for their efforts and it was Brazil’s Victor Pedote "2vitinhorrn15” dos Santos who collected this sum.

By the time “calculer”, China’s “jokepoker333”, and Switzerland’s “Sburki” had busted, the minimum prize any of the five remaining players could win was $102,302. Yet, despite rapidly increasing blinds and massive prizes on offer, there was no deal talked about.

aDrENalin710” and “mickl58,” both from Russia, fell in fifth and fourth place before Austria's James “HealTheWorld” Gatz crashed out in third place for a $201,329 score. This left Argentina’s Ramiro “ramatar88” Petrone and "L1VeYRdReamS" to battle it out heads-up for the title.

"L1VeYRdReamS" eventually emerged victoriously and added the massive $396,217 to his bankroll, plus a $30,000 Platinum Pass for the PokerStars Players Championship. The Canada-based Australian won the Sunday Million in May 2017 for $150,179, but this latest score blows that completely out of the water.

It was a case of third time lucky for Norway’s “Aftret” after he took down the Sunday Million for $168,357. The Norwegian had reached the final table of the Sunday Million on two previous occasions but had never been able to get across the finishing line.

After treading water for the first hour of the final table it seemed Aftret would again fall short of victory in online poker’s biggest weekly tournament. Five eliminations in the first hour meant Aftret had laddered to a score of at least $82,908.

Aftret then went on a mini heater after the final four players returned from a break, doubling through “Pyha Karu” and then turned a full house in a hand against “SWE_NIXON” to claim the chip lead.

Pyha Karu fell in fourth-place at the hands of “Pipin811” before "SWE_NIXON"’s king-ten couldn’t get there against Aftret’s ace-jack. This sent the tournament into the heads-up stage.

The final hand saw Aftret opened to 1.28 million with ace-six of spades and "Pipin811" three-bet to 3.6 million with pocket fours. Aftret called and the flop fell ace-ten-three rainbow. "Pipin811" led for 3 million and was called. The turn was a deuce and "Pipin811" made it 6.6 million to continue and was called. "Pipin811" moved all-in for 7.3 million on the eight of diamonds river and was called by Aftret who won with a pair of aces and he got his hands on his first Sunday Million title.

888poker ambassador Martin Jacobson reached another final table on his sponsor's site, although he couldn’t quite finish the job and take down the $100,000 Whale.

Jacobson, a former World Series of Poker Main Event champion, was one of 135 entries in the $1,050 buy-in tournament. The talented Swede navigated his way to the nine-handed final table where he met fellow Swede Simon “Isildur1337x” Mattsson. Mattsson was the second player eliminated from the final table and collected $4,725.

Jacobson’s tournament ended in fifth-place, a finish worth $9,450, and he was followed to the sidelines by “Gull553”, “birdgamecray”, and finally “IEATFISHES,” the latter falling in second-place after losing heads-up against Canada’s “McNugget123.”
