Galfond, Bleznick, Zamani Fall Short as Josh "loofa" Pollock Wins Second Bracelet in $600 Online PLO Event
After almost 13 hours of grinding online, Josh "loofa" Pollock has come out on top of the $600 WSOP.com ONLINE Pot Limit Omaha 6-handed event and won the gold WSOP bracelet. There were a total of 652 entries including 564 rebuys, which saw Pollock win $139,740 and his second bracelet. His first bracelet was in the same variant when he triumphed in Event 22 of the 2013 WSOP, good for $279,431 (lead photo.)
In the final hand of the night, Pollock and his opponent Jason "TheBigGift" Gooch got all the chips in the middle pre-flop, and 'loofa' flopped the nut flush, leaving 'TheBigGift' drawing slim. The turn was exciting as 'TheBigGift' picked up two pairs to have a shot at making a full house, but it was meant to be for 'loofa' as the river was a blank.

Phil Galfond was eliminated in fifth place, crushing the dream of winning his fourth WSOP bracelet. Galfond, founder of Run it Once, had laid pretty low for the first few hours of the tournament but when he got to the final four tables, he had a dominating chip lead and was relentless with the three-betting and continuation betting.
Galfond led several times at the final table and at one point looked sure to at least make heads-up, but was unlucky to run into Gooch's flopped full house with only five players remaining, giving up his chip lead for the first time since twelve players left. Galfond eventually got it in with a rivered flush, but Jared 'Jebronlames1' Bleznick, one-time a regular foe of Galfond online, finished him off in fifth place with a flopped full house sixes full of nines.
