Michael "YesPlease" Clacher Wins First WSOP Bracelet in Event #36: $1,500 FIFTY STACK NLHE

After almost eleven hours, Michael "YesPlease" Clacher has won the third WSOP bracelet for South Africa in the 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Event #36: $1,500 FIFTY STACK NLHE for $297,496 by overcoming a field of 1,342 players. The third event where a bracelet could be won generated a prize pool of $1,912,350 for 188 players to cash in in the end.

Clacher has now collected $304,398 in cashes on GGPoker alone and seems to not play any live tournaments outside of South Africa as all his previous results in the live poker scene according to The Hendon Mob totaled just under $25,000. Clacher defeated Rodrigo "PAPAI_PIG" Dos Santos Caprioli heads-up who collected his first-ever cash on this poker network but is more well-known under his "caprioli" nicknames on the other poker sites.

Other players at the final table who might sound familiar to the people who follow the WSOP every summer are Martin "FuTimReilly" Zamani and Joao Vieira.

Many savvy players took their seats during the first 210 minutes of late registration but not all of them were lucky enough to cash. While "Ag2703 busted in the last round of hand-for-hand play, so did some others. Luckyshiba was the first player to collect a cash when they got their last three big blinds in with ace-queen and were looked up by "ubermensch1" who held seven-five. The five on the turn meant the flow of cashes could start coming in.

Within 15 minutes, 80 players had already busted before the sixth break of the day. Another hour later, the field had been halved. 2017 Marathon Champion Joseph Di Rosa Rojas fell in 43rd place with Mike McDonald following him shortly after. Jeff "muitoforte" Gross also had a deep run but was eliminated by Vieira when he got his sevens in against the jacks of the latter.

Brandon "TryLSD" Sheils, Sam "samsam81" Higgs, Sergey Rybachenko, and Dante Goya all busted before "profishnal7" became the final table bubble boy when they ran their jack-ten into the king-eight of Olivier "BigPapyBoss" Rebello. Jose "Machenzzio" Davilla left the final table almost immediately with pocket fours As Rebello flopped the pair of aces. Vieira then found queens to bust Viktor "Ryuzaki1" Zsemlye who held ace-queen. Rich "DadPoker" Dixon was eliminated shortly after by Zamani who had jacks.

Neel "Neel" Joshi lost all his chips when he ran his jack-ten into the jacks of Rebello. Vieira then failed to win his second bracelet when he put his tournament life at risk with ace-seven suited. He flopped a seven but Caprioli rivered a higher pair of jacks with his ace-jack. Twenty minutes later, Zamani was shown the door when he got outkicked by Caprioli before Rebello then lost his whole stack to Clacher who turned a set.

Clacher kept increasing his chip lead before he dealt the final blow to Caprioli who shoved on the four-five-nine-queen board with three clubs. Clacher called with queen-four for two pair while Caprioli had to show he held the eight-seven of diamonds. Clacher claimed the win for his first-ever bracelet to end the tournament with the right call while Caprioli added a nice amount to his bankroll too.
