On the first Sunday of the 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars, cards went in the air for no fewer than 18 events to kick things off with a bang. Among the highlights of the night were the SCOOP-06-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller] and SCOOP-04-M: $215 NLHE [Progressive KO, Sunday Million SE], both followed by the watchful eye of the PokerNews live reporting team. Players once again flocked in droves to the biggest poker site in the world with the smallest buy-in fields drawing tens of thousands of players.

Holz lost the heads-up to Maksym "MAMOHT_T" Mamonov, who earned $88,728 as a result. "Diegops_AKs" and Ilari Fabahaba Tahkokallio also added a title to their resumes on the opening night.

Holz will get a second chance in the $10K High Roller, where a ridiculously stacked final table awaits tonight with Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas in the lead. Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson and , Michael "Imluckbox" Addamo, and Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche will also take a virtual seat at the table to duke it out for $254,256.
