Elliott "elliottpet" Peterman Leads Pack After WCOOP-42-H: $5,200 NLHE Day 1

Elliott Peterman

Nine players remain out of 136 runners in the WCOOP-42-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max] on PokerStars after Day 1 of Action. The tournament had a lofty guarantee of $700,000 and did not surpass that.

Costa Rica-based grinder Elliott "elliottpet" Peterman leads the pack at the end of Day 1 with a stack of 8.7 million, trailed by Tom "Daenarys T" Vogelsang of the Netherlands and "CrazyLissy" of Russia, who won the WCOOP-61-H: $2,100 NLHE event in 2019 for $115,509.

The players to make Day 2 include previous WCOOP champions, such as two-time WCOOP winner Andras "probirs" Nemeth of Hungary, 2018 Event #62M: $2,100 NLHE champion Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood and Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov, who took down the WCOOP 06-H: $1,050 NLHE [6-Max] earlier this month for $97,851. Latvian pro Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich, Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic and Jargo "bungakat" Alavali of Estonia also made it to Day 2 of the tournament.
