Recent allegations of cheating didn't keep Ali Imsirovic, Jake Schindler, and Bryn Kenney from competing in the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The trio, along with Sergi Reixach, who has been linked to Kenney, took their seats in Event #2: $100,000 High Roller Bounty Tuesday afternoon. All those individuals have been alleged to cheat in online poker games and, in Imsirovic's case, live tournaments. Kenney denied wrongdoing in an April interview with PokerNews.

Facing Some Harsh Accusations

Kenney was accused by Martin Zamani, who provided some additional evidence to PokerNews, of running a poker cheating stable that included collusion, ghosting, and real-time assistance (RTA) use online. Reixach, alleged to have coached some of Kenney's horses, also denied the accusations in a public statement last month.

Imsirovic, the 2021 GPI Player of the Year, was accused of colluding in high rollers by Alex Foxen and others within the poker community. He has yet to publicly deny or fess up to any of the claims made against him.

Those three poker stars all showed up to play in the first open event of the 2022 WSOP, the $100,000 buy-in high roller. Schindler, considered one of the best tournament players in the game, is facing similar accusations as those against Imsirovic. He, like the other three mentioned alleged cheaters, registered for Day 1 of the high roller.

Like Imsirovic, Schindler hasn't given any indication on what he thinks of the cheating allegations. Kenney and Reixach, however, have openly denied most accusations against them.

Imsirovic Playing for a Valuable Cause

The claims against Imsirovic certainly aren't positive, but the Bosnian poker pro announced on Instagram that he has plans to do some good via his 2022 WSOP performance.

Imsirovic vows to donate 50% of his profits to charity in all WSOP events he plays with buy ins under $25,000. He'll give the money, assuming there are profits, to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Imsirovic was the top performer in high rollers in 2021, winning 14 tournaments. As a result, he claimed the GPI and PokerGO Tour Player of the Year awards and cashed for over $6.1 million last year.

All of the aforementioned players were still in it on Day 1 at the time of publishing. Imsirovic's chip stack has fluctuated the most following a fast start.
