On Saturday, the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online continued with Event #16: $500 NLH Deepstack, a tournament that drew 386 players who rebought 169 times. The 555-entry field resulted in a $249,750 prize pool, and after just under eleven hours of play, it was Connor "beefstew93" Stuewe who scored the victory to capture a $45,679 top prize and his first gold bracelet.
Stuewe, who defeated Kevin "GoneBananas" Garosshen in heads-up play, is a Massachusetts native with over $100,000 in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob. That includes a career-best $33,900 for 334th place in the 2021 $10,000 WSOP Main Event and a 67th-place finish in the $4,600 WPT Venetian for $13,450.

Event #17: $777 NLH Lucky 7s as part of the 2022 WSOP.com Online wrapped up early Monday morning and saw Mike "BrockLesnar" Holtz defeating Jordyn "ThLstCrdBndr" Miller during a short heads-up battle to win his first bracelet and $76,157.
In January, Holtz was named the 2021 WSOP.com Player of the Year to win a ring and $10,000 in cash. Deep into 2022 and Holtz now finds himself a WSOP bracelet holder.
The online event attracted 347 entrants, including 217 re-buys, to generate a prize pool of $394,800. Some big names in the field included poker vlogger Johnnie "JohnnieVIBES" Moreno (30th - $2,369), two-time bracelet winners Michael "Unbelievable" Wang (20th - $2,566), Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams (19th - $2,566), streamer Tim "uNORTH0doX" Reilly ($3,514) and Women in Poker Hall of Famers JJ "artiliu" Liu and Kathy "Luckygal" Liebert, who were both eliminated near the money bubble.

The 344-entry field resulted in a $309,600 prize pool, and after just under six hours of play, it was Michael "itwasthator0" Gagliano emerging victorious to capture a $62,755 top prize and his second career gold bracelet.
Gagliano, who defeated John "Macallan25" Riordan in heads-up play, is a WSOP bracelet winner with over two million in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob. That includes a career-best $448,463 for first in the 2016 WSOP $2,500 No Limit Hold'em for his first career bracelet and a third-place finish in the 2017 WSOP $3,000 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max for $210,139.
