Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo is one of only three GGPoker players to have won the $10,300 buy-in Super MILLION$ tournament five times, tying with Niklas Astedt and Artur Martirosian. That is not bad company to keep. However, at 6:00 p.m. GMT on December 13, Addamo has the chance to pull clear of that talented duo because he holds a substantial chip lead going into the latest Super MILLION$ final table.

This week's Super MILLION$ saw 134 entries processed and a $1,314,000 prize pool created. Barak Wisbrod was the unfortunate bubble boy, busting in 16th place. Martirosian, last week's champion "Corenkas," and tenth-place finisher Andras Nemeth were among those to cash but fall short of the nine-handed final table.

Victory in this latest Super MILLION$ not only makes Addamo the player with the most outright victories, but also pushed him to fifth in the tournament's all-time money listings. Addamo will leapfrog Wiktor Malinowski with a win tonight. The fact Addamo is ridiculously talented and has 3,541,195 chips (101 big blinds) at his disposal makes that victory look on the cards.

Canada's "LJoseph62" is Addamo's nearest rival, but his 2,066,723 chips (59 big blinds) put him some distance behind the leader. Tonight is the third time LJoseph62 has cashed in the Super MILLION$. Their previous results are a third-place finish on October 11 and a runner-up finish two weeks later. Will LJoseph62 continue the pattern and become a Super MILLION$ champion at the third time of asking?

Thomas Muehloecker is the player returning the action in third place, courtesy of his 1,873,529 chips (54 big blinds). Muehlocker is Super MILLION$ regular and one that has enjoyed the sweet taste of success in this event. The popular Austrian won $311,933 when he triumphed in the November 28th edition of the Super MILLION$ in 2021. Three weeks ago, Muehloecker finished fourth, narrowly missing out on become a two-time champion.

Fourth place at the restart belongs to Sergi Reixach, a top-level grinder that the Super MILLION$ has not been too kind to. This will be Reixach's third appearance at the final table, with a sixth place during Season 1 being the deepest he has gone. Reixach's 1,687,103 chips (48 big blinds) put him in the middle of the pack.

Last week's runner-up Biao Ding is hungry to make amends for falling at the final hurdle. Ding walked away with a cool $845,129 when he lost heads-up to "Corenkas" in the WSOP Winter Circuit edition of the Super MILLION$. Ding has 1,132,866 chips (32 big blinds) in his arsenal so has a bit of work ahead of him if he is to enjoy a repeat finish.

Anatoly Filatov, like Ding, was also at last week's Super MILLION$ final table and is present and correct here. Filatov fell in sixth for $299,340 and starts this final table in sixth place, with 1,125,000 chips (32 big blinds). Filatov has won this tournament twice, completing his hat-trick would mean denying Addamo a record sixth win.

Brazil's Yuri Dzivielevski is another former Super MILLION$ champion gunning for glory this evening. Dzivielevski last reach the final table of this $10,300 buy-in affair in October, where he finished in ninth place. The PartyPoker ambassador is in seventh place at the restart with 1,031,246 chips (30 big blinds). However, there are only 18 big blinds separating Reixach in fourth and Dzivielevski in seventh, so it is anyone's game.

Two of the finalists have sub-20 big blind stacks, and Deividas "PDC Mayor" Daubaris is one of them. Daubaris is armed with 609,705 chips (17 big blinds) as he attempts to record his deepest run in this tournament. Both of Daubaris' final table appearances have ended with him busting in ninth-place. He will be hoping to spin up his second-shortest stack sooner rather than later.

Regardless of where "Be Myself" finishes at this final table it will be a massive success. The unknown Argentinian is playing in their first-ever Super MILLION$, and has only $2,358 in GGPoker winnings. Even a ninth-place finish pays out $40,290. Be Myself returns to the fray with 332,613 chips (10 big blinds) and a dream.
