Can't Make it to the PokerStars UKIPT London Main Event? Follow the Action at PokerNews

The PokerStars United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) action continues coming thick and fast. Team PokerStars' Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg only took down the UKIPT Brighton Main Event on September 10, and he has the chance to become a two-time UKIPT champion when the London Main Event kicks off on September 21.
UKIPT London runs from September 19-24 at the Hippodrome Casino in the heart of the English capital. A ��2,200 buy-in High Roller runs from September 20-21, won by Jeremy Routier in October 2022 for ��249,460, is sure to attract some big names.
The ��350 UKIPT Cup takes place from September 23-24, with the eagerly anticipated ��1,100 UKIPT London Main Event being the crown jewel of the schedule; it runs from September 21-24.
The Main Event features three flights, including a turbo-structured Day 1c. All Main Event players sit down with 30,000 chips and play to 40-minute levels �C 20-minuyes for the turbo Day 1 �C where blinds start at 100/100/100a. Each Day 1 continues until only 15% of the field remains, and each has a maximum of three entries per person per flight.

Past UKIPT London Main Event Champions
The first two UKIPT London events took place in 2010 and 2011 when they were part of the European Poker Tour (EPT) London festival and acted as the tour's Grand Final.
Sergio Aido, whose career was in its relevant infancy back then, banked ��144,555, his first six-figure haul.
Brett Angell, Rapinder Cheema, Usman Siddique, and James Rann won the four iterations, before the 2014 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Martin Jacobson took down the most recent UKIPT Main Event and walked away with ��232,300.
