Shiina Okamoto is a female Japanese poker player best known for winning the $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) a year after finishing as the same event's runner-up.
Okamoto has live poker tournament cashes dating back to 2021, with her first in-the-money finish coming at the 2021 WSOP in the $500 No-Limit Hold'em event. She banked her first five-figure score in August 2022 by finishing tenth in a �2,100 No-Limit Hold'em side event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona festival.
At the 2023 WSOP, Okamoto cashed in five events, including the $10,000 Main Event. She also finished second in the $1,000 Ladies Championship for a career-best $118,768.
In August 2023, she recorded her first live victory in an Asian Poker Tour Incheon side event, which was worth the equivalent of $17,188.
After registering two cashes at the 2024 WSOP, Okamoto won Event #71: $1,000 Ladies Championship, defeating Jamie Kerstetter heads-up to clinch the $171,732 top prize and her first WSOP bracelet.
