25K Fantasy 2024
On Day 10 of the 2024 WSOP, just three players remain in Event #13: $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship (6-Handed), and one of them is chip leader Robert Mizrachi, who is looking for a fifth gold bracelet. Mizrachi is a $25K Fantasy player who went for just $1 to Team The Dinkers), who are already atop the league leaderboard. No matter where Mizrachi finishes they’re primed to extend their lead, though a win would be the best result.
Event #15: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better (8-Handed) attracted 1,277 runners but only 14 players return for Day 2 with Christian Harder (Team TheCoffeeBreakers) being the only $25K Fantasy player remaining, though he is the third-shortest stack. Yuval Bronshtein (Team Wilson – 15th place) and Tyler Brown (Team Livingston – 17th place)
In Event #16: $5,000 8-Handed NLH, 41 players return for Day 2 including Sam Soverel (Team Lang), Brian Rast (Team The Dinkers), Punnat Punsri (Team TheCoffeeBreakers), Samuel Laskowtiz (Team Baker), reigning POY Ian Matakis (Team Lang), and Erik Seidel (Team Lucky).

Day 9 of the 2024 WSOP is about to shake up the $25K Fantasy standings!
Event #12: $1,500 6-Handed NLH has 17 players from a 2,526-entry field remaining, but none of them are $25K Fantasy players. The last remaining one had been Landon Tice (Team Wilson), who busted in 29th place for $17,858.
However, Event #13: $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship (6-Handed) does have a handful of $25K Fantasy players among the final 11 from the 141-player field. They include chip leader Robert Mizrachi (Team The Dinkers), Ben Lamb (Team The Dinkers), Phil Ivey (Team Sepiol), and Daniel Negreanu (Team DPMC). That tournament, which is scheduled to finish today, will award $333,045 to the winner.
Event #15: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better (8-Handed) attracted 1,277 runners and just under 200 will return for Day 2. Among the $25K Fantasy players still in contention include Yuval Bronshtein (Team Wilson), Christian Harder (Team TheCoffeeBreakers), Joao Simao (Team Sternheimer), Maksim Pisarenko (Team Baker), Tyler Brown (Team Livingston), Adam Friedman (Team Sepiol), and many more.
Similarly, Event #16: $5,000 8-Handed NLH had 660 entries but only 239 players will return for Day 2 including Bin Weng (Team Chingas), Adam Hendrix (Team Wilson), Samuel Laskowitz (Team Baker), and a couple dozen more.

The $25K Fantasy league is off to a hot start with seven of the 19 teams over 100 points as of Tuesday night. Most of those were thanks to a handful of draftees hitting field bonuses in Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions, which attracted 18,409 entrants and became the sixth-largest poker tournament of all time.
Among those to hit the field bonus were Josh Reichard (21st place – 101 points), Adam Hendrix (32nd place – 101 points), Dong Chen (59th place – 101 points), John Riordan (88th place – 101 points), Chris Vitch (113th place – 101 points), Christian Harder (155th place – 101 points), and Ash Gupta (161st place – 101 points).
As of this writing, Team Oz (Gary Benson) is out on top with 245 points, while Team Sternheimer (Philip Sternheimer) sits in second with 199 points. From there it’s Team The Dinkers (179 points), Team Lady Gaga (168 points), Team Girl Dads (144 points), Team Wilson (118 points), and Team TheCoffeeBreakers (107 points) as the seven teams with 100+ points.
