First Blood To Lisandro

Hold'em

First blood has been drawn by the short-stacked Jeff Lisandro.

David Bach limped the button and Lisandro checked his option in the big blind. Lisandro check-raised the flop, before firing bets on the turn and river with Bach calling him down all the way on the {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} board.

"King..." said Lisandro as he tabled {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} which was good to take it down.

"Let's Go David!"

...said Jeff Lisandro as he took his seat on the feature table for the conclusion of the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. event with opponent David Bach.

We're playing 4,000/8,000 with six hands of Hold'em to play in this round.

The cards are in the air!

H.O.R.S.E. Heads-Up To Recommence At 7pm

Richard Ashby was eliminated in 3rd place leaving 2009 WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. Champion David Bach and four-time WSOP bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro to battle it out for the title. In the wee hours of the morning, the two participants agreed to call it a night and return at 7pm this evening to battle it out for the Aussie Millions Championship Ring in what will be an enthralling heads-up battle.

David Bach holds a significant chip advantage when play recommences:

David Bach - 447,000
Jeff Lisandro - 104,000

We'll have live updates of the heads-up contest at 7pm. Stay tuned!

Technical Difficulties

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to finish coverage tonight of the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will bring a full update in the morning of how the tournament concluded.

Thank you!

Lisandro Likes Ashby

Hold'em

Jeff Lisandro can't lose right now.

He's kicked out in front on the tail end of Stud Hi/Lo and continued his good run in Hold'em.

In a recent hand, Lisandro opened the button and Richard Ashby three-bet him from the small blind. Lisandro called and they took a {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop.

Ashby bet out and Lisandro flat called. The turn was the {3-Hearts}. Ashby led and Lisandro raised. Ashby called and the river was the {j-Spades}. This Ashby check-called a bet from Lisandro.

Lisandro showed {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for top pair, good for the pot. He has the chip lead at the moment.
